With views to paddocks and fields, this is what most people probably think of as the quintessential English Garden. Designed for a couple of keen gardeners, it is filled with soft, cool colours and classic plants: lavender, lilac, herbs, foxgloves, roses, iris and paeonies. Wonderfully scented jasmine and honeysuckle scramble up an green oak pergola which is framed by a mature, frilly, pink cherry.
